Civil Engineering is one of the oldest branches of Engineering because it deals with the day to day necessities of life and provides for physical infrastructure of our modern society.

The civil Engineering is the application of planning, designing, constructing, maintaining and operating infrastructures while protecting the public and environmental health as well as improving existing infrastructure that have been neglected. Civil Engineers are concerned with all type of structure including dams, bridges, pipelines, roads, towers and buildings, transport system, the design and management of our gas and water supply, sewerage systems, harbors, airports and railways. The deptt. also provides basic facilities to the students for completing their project work and all types the facility. The scope of Civil Engineering in Govt. as well as in private sectors:- Irrigation deptt., Water Supply Deptt., Sewerage Board, Railway, PWD, B & R, Municipal Corporation, Construction Companies (Building, Bridges, Dam, Roads), Design of Structure, Consultancy and many more.
